Hike and Tour - Battir
This time, we’re heading to one of the most beautiful villages in the world… Battir. 🤍 And we’re not getting there just any way! We’ll be hiking along one of the region’s most famous and breathtaking trails: The Makhrour–Battir Trail. 🌿 We’ll meet at 9:00 AM at Jala Jungle – Beit Jala, where we’ll start our day with breakfast together and some light connection activities. From there, we’ll set off on a 5.5 km hike through Wadi Al-Makhrour, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, ancient agricultural terraces, and stunning green landscapes, all the way to Battir. 🌿 But Battir is more than just a beautiful village. Its agricultural cultural landscape is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, celebrated for its historic stone terraces and ancient irrigation system, which remains part of village life to this day. Once we arrive, we’ll explore Battir together, discover its history and charm, wander through its beautiful streets and natural surroundings, and take our time to soak it all in.
